PrimeLink receives commendation from the NYS Public Service Commission
 
Plattsburgh, NY – PrimeLink has been recognized by the New York State Public Service Commission for providing excellent service quality to consumers during 2009.

The New York State Public Service Commission recently awarded PrimeLink, a local telecommunications company, with their third annual commendation for excellence in service quality. “This recognition is truly a result of PrimeLink’s commitment to providing a quality customer experience,” said Greg MacConnell, President and General Manager, “This commendation confirms the dedication of our entire organization to improving our communities through innovative communication solutions.”

This year, the PSC evaluated 73 local telephone companies throughout New York State. Of those evaluated, 51 were issued letters of commendation. The commendations for excellent service are based on the telephone companies’ performance in relation to service quality standards established by the Commission. Commendations are based on Customer Trouble Report Rate (CTRR) and Complaint Rate. PrimeLink scored 100% on its CTTR, which reflects performance results in its central office operations, and maintained a 0.00 PSC Complaint Rate score.

The New York State Public Service Commission recently awarded PrimeLink, a local telecommunications company, with their annual commendation for excellence in service quality. “This commendation reflects PrimeLink’s commitment to overall service quality and the dedication the staff has for our customers,” said Greg MacConnell, President and General Manager, “This is definitely a tribute to our entire organization, from the service technicians to our trademark ‘live’ customer service specialists. Our employees work hard to maintain our standard of excellence each and every day.”

The commendations for excellent service are based on the telephone companies’ performance in relation to service quality standards established by the Commission. Commendations are based on Customer Trouble Report Rate (CTRR) and Complaint Rate. PrimeLink scored 100% on its CTTR, which reflects performance results in its central office operations, and maintained a 0.00 PSC Complaint Rate score.

PrimeLink Earns Two Distinguished Marketing Awards

Plattsburgh, New York - PrimeLink, a local leader in telecommunications, received two ONYX Marketing Awards from the New York State Telecommunications Association (NYSTA). ONYX stands for “Observing New York’s Excellence” and is an award presented among New York State Telecommunications Companies.

NYSTA presented PrimeLink with two awards on June 4, 2007 at their Annual NYSTA Conference. The first ONYX was awarded for the “Multimedia” category. This award was for recognition of a television ad that was part of PrimeLink’s 2006 marketing campaign promoting PrimeLink voice and data business services offered in their region. The ad aired on both Plattsburgh’s local NBC station (News Channel 5) as well as around Monday night football on Charter cable. The recognized television ad was not only powerful and creative but was also successful in achieving the goals it was developed to attain.

PrimeLink was also presented with the “Most Innovative” award for the 2006 PrimeLink Great Northern ShootOut. The ShootOut is an annual Thanksgiving weekend hockey tournament that was established by PrimeLink in 1998. The tournament showcases four of the nation’s top Division III College Hockey Teams. The 2006 tournament demonstrated to be innovative in the respect that it continues to be a PrimeLink sole sponsored nationally recognized sporting event. The event boosted brand awareness, promoted products and services to potential new markets and customers, introduced ‘live’ streaming video of the game to demonstrate a broadband application, fulfilled elements of the overall PrimeLink mission statement and reinforced the PrimeLink’s customer maintenance program.

The competitive atmosphere of the tournament and the quality of sportsmanship has remained a constant over the last nine years. The tournament has sustained its’ reputation as a highly energized college hockey event for fans as well as a quality measuring stick for the teams as they enter the season. With the National Champion coming out of this tournament seven of the nine years, the tournament is truly a major college hockey attraction and a solid tradition in college hockey. The marketing efforts of this event not only promotes the tournament but also gains widespread recognition for PrimeLink and the products and services it offers.
